SUNDAYS

People usually start gathering between 9:00-9:15 on Sunday mornings. You'll find a handful of people hanging out in the kitchen, visiting with each other, and drinking coffee.  We love this time of fellowship before our Bible Classes (for all ages).

9:30 a.m. - Sunday School Bible Classes

We use the Gospel Project Curriculum and as such all of our classes are focused on Jesus and knowing Him through God's Holy Word, the Bible.

10:30 a.m. - Worship Service

After a short, ten-minute break between Sunday School and Worship, people gather in the sanctuary and prepare to sing, pray, study the Word of God, take communion, and fellowship with one another.

Sunday Evening (Time varies) – Youth Group

On Sunday Evenings, the youth of the church and community gather for a lesson, some fun and games, snacks, etc.  There will be a variety of programs planned throughout the year.  This group is led by one of our elders and a few couples in our church.

WEDNESDAYS

6:30 p.m. - Bible Study

We gather in the Annex (Fellowship Hall) and study a book of the Bible at a time.  It's a wonderful time of study and sharing, discussion and prayer.  There is always coffee and sometimes snacks to enjoy as we study God's Holy Word together.

Why We Exist // What We Believe

WE EXIST TO WORSHIP, PROCLAIM, and SERVE

WORSHIP: We gather together to worship the Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We read the Bible, preach the Bible, pray the Bible, sing the Bible, and see the Bible (in communion, offering, and baptism).

PROCLAIM: We work to fulfill the Great Commission by spreading the Gospel - the Good News of Jesus Christ - to the whole world while supporting other ministries and missionaries who do the same.

SERVE: We minister to the community in which we live, we love our neighbors as ourselves, and we live as the salt of the earth and the light of the world, all to the praise and glory of God.

What We Believe >

What to Expect

A Warm Greeting- Normally, we have friendly church members standing at the entrances to the sanctuary to greet you, shake your hand, give you a hug, and hand you a bulletin.  However, during this time of social distancing, we will greet you with a wave and a smile and let you grab your own bulletin. :)

Casual Environment- We're not a "coat & tie" crowd at RHCC, though some might dress way up (only a few, and rarely!).  Our desire is to be respectful of the One we've come to worship, but we believe that can be done in a pair of jean, khakis, or even shorts.  God looks at our hearts, not our fashion sense.  Bring your coffee with you, fellowship, and worship with us.

Biblical Preaching- We are committed to preaching the Bible, the only Word of God, seeking to hear from Him.  Our pastor and elders through one book of the Bible at a time, making our way, bit-by-bit, through God's Holy Word.  Our desire is to become students of the Word.

Something for the Whole Family-We have Sunday School classes for children and adults as well as Children's Church and Junior Church during part of the worship service.

Blended Worship- As we worship the LORD in song, we sing a couple traditional hymns accompanied by the piano and a couple contemporary praise songs.  We observe the Lord's Supper (communion) each week as part of our worship.
